SANA reported that President Ahmad al-Sharaa held high-level talks with U.S. President Donald Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on the sidelines of the 36th NATO Summit in Ankara. The agency said Trump handed al-Sharaa a signed presidential decree to rescind Syria's State Sponsor of Terrorism designation, triggering a 45-day congressional review; U.S. officials and congressional figures cited by SANA said the move would restore international banking access, ease financial transfers and open the door to American investment. SANA also described Macron's visit to Damascus as the first by a European head of state since liberation and the first French presidential trip in 17 years, and reported that Erdoğan pledged continued backing for Syrian state institutions, northern border stability and expanded cross-border commerce.

SANA said these developments amount to a permanent end to Syria's past isolation and to an emerging international consensus on the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity. The report frames Damascus's diplomacy as establishing a non-aligned network with Washington, Paris and Ankara that will attract infrastructure projects, investment and regional cooperation, reshaping the geopolitics of the Levant, as reported by SANA
