Damascus, Aug 8 (SANA) — The Syrian Arab Republic strongly condemned an Iranian attack on an oil tanker operated by the UAE’s Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) as it transited the Strait of Hormuz. The Foreign Ministry issued the statement affirming Syria’s solidarity with the sisterly United Arab Emirates and rejecting any acts that target the security of maritime navigation in international waterways.
