Mass grave uncovered in Kafraa, eastern Hama
The Internal Security Command in Hama Governorate reported on Saturday that it discovered a mass grave in the village of Kafraa in the eastern Hama countryside. Human remains of several unidentified individuals, including skulls, were located at a burial site on a farm; remnants of military clothing were also recovered and are believed to have belonged to fighters who operated in the area at the time.
Security personnel immediately cordoned off the area after the find. Preliminary information provided by authorities indicates the burials date back to the period of the deposed regime; further forensic examination and identification efforts are pending, as reported by SANA
