The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health said Saturday that the death toll from Israeli attacks since March 2 has risen to 2,496, with 7,725 people wounded, after four more fatalities were recorded on the day. Authorities reported earlier airstrikes on the town of Yohmor al-Shqif that killed four people, while Israeli artillery continued to strike the south, including Kounine and the outskirts of Al-Tiri in the Bint Jbeil district, and a large blast was reported in Al-Qantara in Marjayoun.

Ceasefire update

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel will be extended for an additional three weeks, following an earlier truce announced on the 16th of this month. The extension comes amid continued localized fighting and civilian casualties across southern Lebanon, as reported by SANA
