Israeli raid and shelling in northern Quneitra

On July 26, Israeli occupation forces entered al-Samdaniyah al-Gharbiyah in the northern Quneitra countryside with several military vehicles, raided a house and withdrew from the area after detaining a civilian, SANA’s correspondent reported. Earlier the same day, the forces shelled the outskirts of Taranja village in northern Quneitra.

Damascus condemns repeated breaches

Syrian officials say the incursions, arrests, land bulldozing and artillery strikes represent ongoing violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement and have no legal effect under international law.
